Now that Apple is allowing emulators to be published on the App Store, it’s only a matter of time until we see them on the Apple Watch. When paired with a Bluetooth controller, the smartwatch could be the perfect retrogaming handheld when on-the-go, especially for Game Boy games.
The example you see here is just an Apple Watch clone, but if developers really do release an emulator for the smartwatch, it will be only a matter of time until we see a hands-on demonstration. For those interested in trying an emulator now with at least an Apple Watch Series 7 running WatchOS 9, there’s Giovanni, which requires you to compile in Xcode before launching.
