We first heard about the Atari Hotel back in 2020, and since then, little has been heard about the project. Fast forward to 2024, and the company says they are in discussions with land partners for potential Las Vegas sites.
Atari Hotel was initially looking to acquire a 5-7 acre lot near the Las Vegas strip, with a goal of opening the first hotel / casino by 2022, but the new plans have not yet been finalized. Should the project move forward, guests can expect immersive VR and AR experiences, along with several esports venues. One event that may fit right in would be the annual Evolution Championship Series (Evo) fighting game tournament.
