Batmobile Tim Burton 1989 Batman Movie For Sale
There are many Batmobile replicas, but this one was actually featured in Tim Burton’s 1989 ‘Batman’ movie, and it could be yours for $1.5-million USD. This vehicle was initially used as a prop, and after a run a New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure theme park, it was purchased by a private party and kept in storage ever since.

The exterior has been crafted from molded fiberglass with fenders from a Daytona prototype race car and a central jet turbine, all sitting on custom 15-inch wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. Inside, you’ll find several non-functional buttons, levers, lights, etc. and two racing seats. What most may not know is that prop cars had an electric drivetrain, or more specifically a 48V system complete with a kill switch hidden within the “drivers’ side” rear wing fin. Plus, there is reportedly a working flame thrower, an independent front suspension, and an air bags for lowering / lifting the car during filming. One caveat: it can only hit 25mph – 30mph. Available now directly from Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania.

Here is your opportunity to be the ONLY PERSON on your block to have one of these. It’s electric and has the hidden driver aspect. The exterior is literally “bat shit crazy cool” as to its curvaceous steampunked black fiberglass construction that borrows from racing and a few classics, has several drops of psychedelics peppered within, and is one of a kind,” said Classic Auto Mall.
