Sound and performance are provided by a motorsport-specific exhaust system, complete with racing catalytic converters. For weight reduction purposes and an even lower center of gravity, the roof is made of lightweight torsion-resistant carbon. It comes equipped with ABS / DSC standard and delivery of the M2 CS Racing is expected being in mid-2020.

The collaborative development of the BMW M2 CS and the BMW M2 CS Racing highlights the close integration of BMW Motorsport and BMW M GmbH. Our expertise meets halfway between high-performance cars for the road and pedigree racing cars, namely in the growing club racing sector,” said Markus Flasch, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW M GmbH.
