Bob Maddox Jet-Powered Go-Kart
Bob Maddox, nicknamed “The Rocketman,” has been building custom jet-powered vehicles since has a child, especially since fighter jets flew close to his home in Phoenix. Once he turned 17, his focus turned to pulsejet engines and the rest is history. “Beast” is his latest project and this insane vehicle boasts a custom-built frame, a small steering wheel, pedals, and most importantly, a triple valveless pulsejet engine running on a mix of propane and diesel.

This triple valveless pulsejet engine generates 110-pounds of thrust, enabling the small kart to top out at a blistering 90 mph. Its small wheels make it perfect to tackle the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, although those exhaust pipes do look a bit dangerous and even more so when they start spitting flames.
