For those hoping to wipe the memory that a Borderlands movie even exists from their minds, this Borderlands 4 announcement at Gamescom 2024 should do the trick. It’s officially launching in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam as well as the Epic Games Store.
Borderlands 4 is the the fourth mainline title and seventh overall entry in the franchise. Players will take on the role of a legendary Vault Hunter as they search for secret alien treasure while blasting away everything in sight. A definitive release date has not yet been set.
