The Boring Company’s Las Vegas Loop is essentially an all-electric, zero-emissions, high-speed underground public transportation system in which passengers are transported to their destination with no intermediate stops. In this case, the tunnels are located beneath the Las Vegas Convention Center. This past week the company offered rides to Las Vegas residents in several Model 3, Model Y and Model X vehicles.
This loop spans 1.70miles of tunnels that are 30-feet deep, and there are three stops: two stations at either end above ground and a third that sits below. The Las Vegas Loop is expected to be completely up and running for the World of Concrete trade show, which is set to take place between June 8-10.
