Call of Duty Warzone Verdansk Map Rebuilt
Call of Duty Warzone returns to Verdansk with a completely rebuilt map. More specifically, a rebuilt take on the OG Verdansk map from 2020, not the tweaked Verdansk ’84 from the Cold War era. The team recreated it from the ground up, keeping about 95% of it identical to what you might remember

Players will experience enhanced visuals with better lighting and draw distances, plus quality-of-life tweaks like improved access to steep slopes as well as rooftops. The southern coast along the Kastovian Sea is now a combat zone too, with trenches and swimmable water adding fresh tactical options. It’s launching with that back-to-basics Warzone vibe—150 players, the original announcer, shooting during freefall, and retro mechanics like classic Supply Boxes and Buy Stations.

Trees aren’t in precisely the same exact positions as they were in the original map. Any parked vehicle that aren’t drivable now look much more like smoldering wreckage, ensuring players can easily distinguish immovable automobiles from the Cargo Truck, LTV, and other accessible vehicles. One of the biggest changes is the ability to swim, which wasn’t originally possible,” said the Call of Duty Staff.
