Building a functional cardboard GBA SP is one thing, handcrafting a 1:1 scale cardboard Toyota Crown is another. An crafts enthusiast who goes by Dan did just that and it took countless hours of cutting, gluing, as well as piecing parts together to complete such a massive project based on the 2023 Toyota Crown.
Its real-life counterpart is based on Toyota’s GA-K platform, which means that the Crown has a raised overall height nearly four inches higher than Camry. This means the sedan offers increased road visibility, along with easy entry and exit. Now the cardboard version may not be road worthy, but it does have functional lights and doors that actually open. We can’t forget the flowing silhouette and sculpted body lines either. Unfortunately, one thing you won’t find is the HYBRID MAX powertrain that makes 340 hp.
