Limited to 499-units and priced from $459,000 USD, Charge Cars’ all-electric Mustang is based on the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. This isn’t just some kit car, but rather one that uses an officially licensed shell to preserve the classic design, all the while adding a few modern touches, like flush-mounted door handles, an enclosed front grille, bespoke wheels, and Charge emblems in place of the Running Horse Tribar.
Each one of the 499 examples will be hand-built to order, including the 64 kWh battery pack that feeds a dual motor all-wheel drive system generating 536 hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in a mere 3.9-seconds. On a full charge, you expect to travel up to 200-miles. The interior features a digital instrument cluster and a portrait style touchscreen that doubles as the infotainment system.
