The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350’s factory 5.2-liter “Voodoo” V8 is already one of the most exotic engines that money can currently buy, but if a 8250-RPM redline just isn’t enough, Fathouse Fabrications has a twin-turbo kit that should do the trick. When all is said and done, you can expect 1348 horsepower to the wheels, thanks to forged engine internals, a heavy duty twin-disc clutch, Motec ECU, an upgraded oil pump, a thicker intercooler, three fuel pumps, custom intake / exhaust piping, stronger axles, and a carbon fiber driveshaft.
The factory Shelby GT350 is more track focused than the GT500, and was pit against the Camaro Z28, Porsche GT3, and BMW M4. Notable features include track-focused chassis tuning, significant aerodynamic body changes, a MagneRide damping option, a lightweight Tremec six speed manual transmission, Recaro racing seats, and even a carbon fiber reinforced polymer radiator support that directs cooling channels for various components.
