There are electric cars, and then there’s the Chevrolet FNR, unveiled today at the Shanghai Motor Show. Developed at GM’s Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) joint venture in China, this ultra futuristic vehicle boasts a capsule-like design with crystal laser headlights / taillights, dragonfly-inspired dual swing doors, magnetic hub-less wheel electric motors and even a wireless auto-charging system. The technology doesn’t end there, as on the inside, you’ll find sensors and a roof-mounted radar that can map out the environment for driverless operation as well as a crazy iris recognition start function.
