Crisalion Concept Integrity Spain Air Taxi Drones
Crisalion’s Concept Integrity is the first Spain-built air taxi and it has a drone-inspired propulsion system. Called FlyFree, it consists sets of four-rotor units attached to a pair of booms on a fixed wing, with each operating independently for a higher degree of control and reliability.

This battery-electric aircraft is expected to have a range of 100 kilometers (63 miles) on a full charge while cruising at speeds of up to 180 kph (110 mph), all the while generating noise levels of just 45 decibels. There is no word yet on when we’ll see this transporting passengers, but more prototypes are definitely on the way.

Imagine suspending the aircraft from four drones that act as the propulsion system. These are connected via passive joints with the individual rotors operating with their own power units. It is like a multicopter but can be controlled very precisely, with quick changes in direction, which makes for a smoother ride when it comes to absorbing wind gusts or turbulence,” said Manuel Heredia, Crisalion’s managing director.
