Many have dreamed of owning a PlayStation 2 portable at some point, and now, there are modders selling custom-built versions on Aliexpress. Unfortunately, it will cost you more than a brand new PS5 console, but it does use a real PS2 motherboard, which means the games should run like the originals.
There’s not too much information available online about the console, other than it features a 5-inch IPS screen, PSP buttons, is compatible with 90% of all PlayStation 1/2 games, and has an 8MB memory card built-in. An optional 32GB card comes pre-loaded with hundreds of games, which we are assuming are in ISO format that were extracted from actual game discs. The most surprising part is that the seller claims the console has a 3-hour battery life, quite surprising for a handheld console that is so large.
