Wu Yongning, a famous 26-year-old Chinese ‘rooftopping’ photographer, agreed to perform a stunt on November 8th atop the Huayuan Hua Center building in the city of Changsha for a sponsor in exchange $15,000, but things quickly took a turn for the worse as the surface was too slick to pull himself back up. According to local media, Yongning wanted to help his family out of poverty, pay for his mother’s medical costs, and fund his own wedding. Continue reading for the video – may be disturbing for some.
“Yongning was filmed clinging to the edge of the roof and doing pull-ups. When he tried to lift himself back onto the roof, however, he found that he no longer had the strength to do so. After hanging for a brief moment, Yongning lost his grip and fell,” reports Peta Pixel.
