Delta Airlines is set to use a Porsche 911 GT3 RS for tight flight transfers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) through February 26. This plane-side service is typically offered to Delta Medallion members and apparently nobody knows the transfer is happening until it actually happens.
It is a part of Delta’s “surprise and delight” program and as soon as you exit the aircraft, an elite services representative will be waiting at the aircraft door holding a sign with your name on it. They then escort you out of the jet bridge onto the tarmac to the Delta-branded Porsche 911 GT3 RS below,
