Penguin DIY used a real walnut, consumed the kernel, and then proceeded to add several modules including amplifiers, speakers, as well as a rechargeable battery.

Want to make your own? You’ll need an MH-MH18 Bluetooth audio module, HXJ8002 mini audio amplifier, LEDs, a 5V ST6845 power bank module, and a USB-C connector. The MH-M18 and HXJ8002 modules were soldered together to to power the speaker, while four buttons that activate over different resistance values enable onboard control from a single input.
