At the 21st International Meeting on Information Display (IMID 2021), Samsung Display unveiled a new AI Smart Speaker unlike anything you’ve probably seen before. This cylinder-shaped device looks normal at first, but its 12.4-inch flexible OLED display can be unfolded for a variety of uses, including as a television set of sorts. How do you change modes? Simply open up the companion smartphone app, press a button, and the transformation happens in seconds.
No other information is revealed, including the pricing and availability, but Samsung has been known to turn several of its concepts into real products. Whatever the case may be, this AI Smart Speaker would be perfect for gaming on the go, especially in a hotel room or possibly even during a flight, should the tray table be large enough.
