DJI’s habit of keeping secrets until the very last minute has always added to the mystery of their product launches. With the Osmo Nano set to debut tomorrow, someone has already opened the retail box. Photos from trusted parts of the camera world show the box in full, revealing specs and bundled accessories that make this little action camera a silent assassin in a crowded field.
We start with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor that can do both images and video. That’s the same tiny chip that powers the Osmo Action 5 Pro which can do 4K at 60fps without breaking a sweat. Add 10-bit color and D-Log M profiles and you’ll have files that retain every shadow detail and highlight burst for serious editing later. The lens has a 143-degree field of view so you can capture the whole scene in one shot – perfect for helmet mounted rides or chest rigged hikes where every edge counts. Leaks are mum on more but the box art doesn’t confirm 4K slow motion at 120fps.

The camera body weighs around 50g so it’s as light as a pocket change but designed to stick where you point it. Attachments are handled by dual sided magnets that snap into steel surfaces or bespoke mounts. The battery is good for up to 200 minutes of 1080p at 24fps which is enough for an entire afternoon without needing to swap. Storage options are 64GB or 128GB with a microSD card in the dock for extra capacity. Waterproofing is 10m out of the box and IPX4 with the dock – though fine print suggests possible 20m dives which could open up new underwater angles without needing an additional housing. Stabilization is RockSteady 3.0 with horizon balancing to keep the horizon level even when the world is tilting.

When you open the box, you’ll notice that the camera comes with a multi-angle vision dock for stable shots, a case to protect against daily bumps and a magnetic hat clip for hands free head mounts. A magnetic lanyard keeps things secure during swings and sprints and the dual direction magnetic ball joint adapter allows for easy mounting on bikes or boards. Add a USB-C 3.1 cable and the quick start guide with warranty documents and you have a full kit. QR codes on the side link to iOS and Android apps and multilingual labels in English, Chinese and French suggest a global launch from the get go.

Rumors from European listings suggest the base model will be €369 and the 128GB will be €390. Based on early retailer slips the US price will be between $400-$440 which puts it in line with competitors but not premium. The launch is planned for tomorrow (Sep. 22) at 8am EDT as part of DJI’s “Own the Moment” event between the Mini 5 Pro drone hype and rumored action cam upgrades in the future.
