Universal Studio Japan’s new Donkey Kong Country expansion at Super Nintendo World has opened to the public, and aside from all of the new merchandise as well as food, the main attraction is most certainly Mine Cart Madness.
Not just a simple roller coaster, Mine Cart Madness utilizes an innovative system where the ride vehicles are attached to robotic arms connected to a hidden underlying track. This gives the illusion that the carts to are actually jumping and leaping across gaps in the visible track, simulating the feeling of a mine cart rapidly moving through a treacherous Donkey Kong Country-like world.
