Set to compete with the Fisker Pear, the all-electric 2024 MINI Countryman E / SE has been officially revealed. The base, single electric motor Countryman E (FWD) variant makes 201 hp and 184.4 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 8.6 seconds, with a top speed of 106 mph.
As for the Countryman SE ALL4 (AWD) variant, its dual-motor setup generates 308 hp and 364 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in just 5.6 seconds, while topping out at 112 mph. Both variants use a 64.7 kWh (usable) battery that is good for up to 287 miles on a single charge. Inside, you’ll notice that there isn’t an additional display behind the steering wheel, as all relevant content can be projected directly onto the optional heads-up display. Production is set to begin at BMW’s Leipzig factory, but pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
