Elon Musk Tesla Cybertruck 2023 Giga Texas
Elon Musk officially announced that Tesla Cybertruck sales will finally begin in 2023 after several delays at the company’s “Cyber Rodeo” event in the new Giga Texas factory. The latest prototype also reveals that there are no door handles, but those who have been waiting since 2019 for the Cybertruck most likely just want the vehicle in their hands, even if its the base rear-wheel drive model. The base model is still expected to have a self-leveling suspension to compensate for variable load, on-board power inverters for supplying both 120 / 240-volt electricity, an air compressor for powering pneumatic tools is included, and hopefully in the future, a solar roof option capable of adding 15 miles of range per day. Since we know that Tesla models across the board have seen price increases, it will be interesting to see if the Cybertruck’s base $39,900 USD starting price increases.
