Hacksmith Industries Real Halo Master Chief Helmet Heads-Up Display
Master Chief removed his helmet in the very first episode of Halo’s television series, but Hacksmith Industries wanted to create their own, and not just a static sculpture. Simply put, they took a Halo-themed motorcycle helmet and added several upgrades, including a full heads-up display, friend / foe ID technology, a night vision mode, and even camera zoom, all of which are completely voice-activated.

Want to make your own Master Chief Halo helmet with a full HUD? Aside from the motorcycle helmet, you’ll also need a near-eye display by Vufine that comes equipped with an HDMI input. Next, you’ll have to take the display apart to make it fit inside the helmet, which can be accomplished with a custom laser-cut adapter. Lastly, a Raspberry Pi computer will be needed to run all of the scripts required for the friend / foe ID, etc.
