F80 Hypercar

Adriano Raeli, an Italian automotive designer, created the “F80” while studying in Pasadena, California. This hypercar pays homage to the futuristic aviation shapes, the human form, as well as the work of futurism-movement artists, including Umberto Boccioni. However, one thing’s for sure, if it does have a 100% carbon-fiber monocoque, the vehicle should be just as light as the LaFerrari, while boasting far higher power numbers. That’s right, it’s reported to have a 1,200-horsepower hybrid-drivetrain, which pairs a twin-turbo V8 combustion engine (900 ps) with a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (300 ps). “The front grille is typified by huge air vents, and widely positioned headlamps, both of which are framed by tall + wide wheel arches. With the concept automobile weighing in at just 1,762 pounds, the two-seater can accelerate from 0-62 mph in a blistering 2.2 seconds, with a maximum speed of 310 miles per hour (398.9 km/h),” reports Design Boom.
