If a Super Mario 64 remake just isn’t your cup of tea, this fan-made Super Mario Bros. PC port will soon be released. Not much information has been revealed, but from a short gameplay video, we can see that you’re able to select from various languages, choose a different aspect ratio, and show FPS.
This PC port should include native support for modern controllers (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation, etc.) with customizable keybindings, while widescreen support and built-in save states may be coming in the final version. Unfortunately, Nintendo is known to take down fan projects immediately after they are made public, so we can only hope that this one lasts for more than a few days.
- Build an interactive, 1980s-style TV set displaying the classic Super Mario Bros. game & activate it with LEGO Mario figure (not included)
- Authentic details of the NES console are recreated in LEGO style, including a controller and an opening slot for the buildable Game Pak
- The TV has a handle-operated scrolling screen, Mario figure reacts to the on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups when placed on the top

Some days ago I’ve commented on how strange it was that we got a lot of SMB1 fan games that ported the entire physics, gameplay, level design, music, etc. and also they also added some type of gimmick, but there wasn’t any direct port that was just the same exact game Well, it looks like we will finally get one,” said a commenter.
