First, there was the Origin Big O V2, which put the PS4 inside a gaming PC, and now, Macho Nacho Productions’ creation, which just might be the world’s first truly portable PS4 console. No special tools or parts were required either, just basic off-the-shelf parts and some ingenuity.
For those wanting to build their own, you’ll need a PS4 Slim motherboard due to its much smaller heatsink, a 10″ LCD, eighteen 18650 lithium ion batteries, and a 3D-printed shell. Next, everything had to be installed inside the chassis in layers, with the batteries at the bottom. On a full charge, the portable PS4 console can be played for between 1.5-2 hours.

This is like ‘Tony Stark building one, in a cave, with a box of scraps,’ I love the ingenuity of this build. I am quite impressed and look forward to seeing how Francesco and the community iterate on it,” said one commenter.
