For pure novelty, you’ll want the Nissan Kicks 327 Edition, but the Fisker Pear aims to be an affordable alternative to those wanting an electric SUV that doesn’t compromise on range or features. Priced from $29,900 USD, the 15-foot-long vehicle uses a new light steel body structure and features a unique Houdini trunk that enables owners to load and unload in tight street parking situations.
Buyers will be able to choose from either a single-motor RWD or dual-motor AWD variants, with the latter being able to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.8-seconds. There is also going to be two battery options, which offers a range between 180-miles up to 320-miles on a single charge. The Pear will also be the first Fisker vehicle to implement the Fisker Blade computer that delivers up to 6.2 TFLOPs and up to 25% more performance per watt used. A 5G/Wi-Fi6 wireless network basically turns PEAR into a cloud-connected mini data center. Production is set to begin next year at Foxconn’s Ohio factory, with deliveries beginning in July 2025.

With PEAR, we threw convention out the window. We created this vehicle with the idea that young people living in the world’s big cities need innovative, versatile, and affordable mobility,” Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO.
