Fortnite x Star Wars JJ Abrams

Fortnite players, including high-profile streamers, had some trouble logging into the game today during Epic Games live Star Wars event, but eventually, after a 10-minute delay, everything kicked off without a hitch. The Millennium Falcon soared above the Fortnite island, chased by First Order TIE Fighters before landing shortly after where FN-143 emerged. Read more for the full replay in case you missed out.



The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley hosted the event, and introduced “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” director J.J. Abrams, who had a custom character created for him in-game. Players were able to choose from four choices, including scenes that involve a Jedi mind trick or the Knights of Ren and a “Kylo and Rei” power ballad. At the event concluded, the Falcon left behind a chest full of lightsabers, as each player received the color they chose.
