H/t: Peta Pixel
We have the Insta360 Link nowadays, but back in 2013, there was the Genius Cam Mouse, which comes equipped with a 2-megapixel 720p HD sensor at the bottom. A sliding panel on the side lets you quickly toggle between mouse and cam modes, with the former being a 1,200 dpi peripheral that works on almost any surface.
When in default mode, users can capture 640 x 480-pixel images and video. If you want to take full advantage of the advertised specs, you’ll need to install the included software to change the resolution to 1,280 x 960, which then removes the ability to shoot video. One more caveat: there isn’t a built-in microphone, so recording video with the mouse probably isn’t very useful. On the bright, you can still find these sealed new in box for around $20 shipped online.
