God of War Ragnarok is officially coming to the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9th. Unlike previous installments, this one will come in both Collector’s and Jötnar Editions. Both include a printed voucher code for the full God of War Ragnarök game as well as a 16” Mjölnir replica, but only Jötnar has a 7-inch vinyl record with music by Bear McCreary, the legendary Draupnir Ring, Brok’s dice set, and a Yggdrasil cloth map.
This game takes place 3-years following the events of the previous game, Fimbulwinter. The story goes is that a great winter spanning three summers finally draws to a close and the prophesied Ragnarök will begin. Kratos and his teenage son Atreus begin to travel the nine realms to seek out a means to prevent Ragnarök, eventually leading them to the Norse God of War, Týr, who was previously believed to be dead. For now, you can play as Kratos in Fortnite.

As you’ve seen in the above video, the God of War Ragnarök Collector’s Edition comes housed in a beautiful box representing the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine. This shrine was of the triptychs that Kratos and Atreus came across in God of War (2018), depicting the tale of a powerful seer, the Giant Sorceress called Gróa, who was the first to have a vision of Ragnarök,” said Grace Orlady, Sr. PlayStation Community Manager, Santa Monica Studio.
