Most already know Cuphead, a run and gun shooter video game, to be quite challenging even without any distractions. One gamer decided to attempt a Cuphead speedrun while climbing a mountain in Vermont. How? He duct-taped a laptop to a backpack and then connected a wired controller to ensure that there was not any interference or any battery issues during the climb.
This game isn’t very story heavy, as it’s mainly centered on continual boss fights, interspersed with run-and-gun levels. So, having one person calling out obstacles in the hiking path allowed the speedrunner to focus on the game rather than a boulder or other obstructions while playing on Mount Mansfield. The group did manage to summit the mountain in just over 3.5-hours, but in all, it took them slightly more than 8-hours to complete both tasks. Then there’s this gamer who beat GoldenEye 007 with a single bullet.
