Google’s MusicLM is essentially an AI model capable of generating high-fidelity music from text prompts. Whether it be an orchestral soundtrack to a sci-fi movie or just a calming guitar melody, MusicLM will be able to generate music at 24kHz that remains consistent over several minutes.
Aside from text prompts, you can also hum or whistle a melody to generate music. If you happen to be typing in a prompt and a melody pops into your head, combining both the text as well as a hum is possible. Want to generate music for meditation, waking up, running or just when you want to give it your all? Simply enter a sequence of text prompts to do just that. More information here.

Moreover, we demonstrate that MusicLM can be conditioned on both text and a melody in that it can transform whistled and hummed melodies according to the style described in a text caption,” said the researchers.
