Hasselblad X2D 100C
Sure, AI can upscale Apollo 17 footage, but to capture breathtaking still images on Earth, you’ll need the Hasselblad X2D 100C. Sleek and stylish, this dark grey machined aluminum machine features a 100-megapixel back-side illuminated (BSI) (43.8 × 32.9 mm) CMOS sensor capable of delivering up to 15 stops of dynamic range with a 16-bit color depth.

Its new 5-axis, 7-stop in-body image stabilization system (IBIS) allows for handheld image capture in the most extreme of conditions, complete with 294 Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) zones. The latter ensures that the subject is rapidly located and brought into focus. Files are captured in 3FR RAW and full-size JPEG, all on the 1TB SSD storage, while support for CFexpress Type B card gurantees a high capture rate for fast-moving subjects. Other features include a 0.5-inch OLED Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) with 5.76-million dots, a 1.08-inch color top display and a 2.36MP, 3.6-inch tilting, touch-capable rear display. Unfortunately, the X2D 100C does not have any video capabilities. Available now, priced at $8,200 USD for the camera and $3,700 for the XCD 38mm f/2.5 + 55mm f/2.5 lenses as $4,300 for the 90mm f/2.5.

When developing the X2D 100C, our goal was the same as always, just as Victor Hasselblad himself made decades ago: build a better camera. This commitment drives us to explore the possibility to improve its performance from all aspects,” said Bronius Rudnickas, Hasselblad Marketing Manager.
