If a normal hypercar just isn’t fast enough for you, there’s now the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster, which is currently the world’s fastest open-top hypercar. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 6.6L V8 engine making 1,187hp and 1,193 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 7-speed single-clutch automated gearbox, enabling it to hit a top speed that exceeds 300mph.
Limited to just 30-units worldwide and priced at $3-million, each one of these sub-3,100-pound hypercars will be personalized to its owner. Its roof has been specially re-engineered with a removable panel crafted from rigid carbon fiber composites that is fully insulated against the elements and lined with soft Alcantara upholstery. The wheels are forged from aluminum alloy and then milled to perfection with the ‘Hennessey’ script. Now we just need to see the Hennessey Project Deep Space in-action, the company’s six-wheel-drive electric hypercar.
