Sure, the Honda 0 EV series does not include an electrified Prelude or S2000 successor, but the new Saloon and Space-Hub concepts are definitely worth a second look. First up, the Space-Hub, which was developed under the theme of ‘augmenting people’s daily lives,’ complete with a spacious cabin that connects its occupants to the outside world.
Then we have the Saloon, the flagship concept model of the Honda 0 Series, which sits on a dedicated EV platform. Boasting a low and wide exterior paired with a surprisingly spacious interior. Designers opted to use sustainable materials throughout the exterior and interior, while inside, the instrument panel features a human-machine interface (HMI) for intuitive operations. Saloon also features the advancements of Honda’s new steer-by-wire and motion control management systems. Most surprising of all, a production vehicle based on the Saloon concept is slated to arrive in the North American market by 2026.
- Just like a full-size Tesla.

The mobility we dream of is not an extension of the trend of ‘thick, heavy, but smart’ EVs. We will create a completely new value from zero based on thin, light and wise as the foundation for our new Honda 0 EV series to further advance the joy and freedom of mobility to the next level,” said Toshihiro Mibe, Global CEO of Honda.
