Huawei’s just announced Mate X will definitely be giving the Samsung Galaxy Fold some major competition. This foldable smartphone features a 6.6″ main screen (2,480 x 1,148 resolution) and a 6.38″ (2,480 x 892 resolution) secondary screen. Open up the device, and you get an 8-inch OLED tablet screen with a stunning 2,480 x 2,200 resolution. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Fold only has a 4.6″ outer screen. Plus, it’s definitely no slouch when on the power side either, as it features a Kirin 980 processor, a Balong 5000 5G modem, quad 5G antenna, and a 4,500 mAh battery. “Rumors regarding the device’s eventual launch indicated it will go on sale in June. Rumors have also spread that the folding phone would come in a small production run at first, indicating it will be complicated to produce. This exclusivity and manufacturing complexity may make the device expensive,” according to Digital Trends.
