Startup Humane, founded by ex-Apple employees Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, revealed an AI-powered wearable projector during a TED Talk. This new kind of wearable device and platform was built entirely from the ground up for artificial intelligence. It’s completely standalone, which means a smartphone or any other device is not necessary.
How does it work? The wearable can project a summary of all recent emails, calendar invites, and messages, all pulled from cloud-based services. It can be used as a phone as well by simply raising your hand. That action will project a call interface directly onto your hand.

We like to say that the experience is screenless, seamless, and sensing, allowing you to access the power of compute while remaining present in your surroundings, fixing a balance that’s felt out of place for some time now,” said Imran Chaudhri, Co-Founder at Humane.
