ICON x Lennar Wolf Ranch 3D-Printed Home Community Completion
ICON and Lennar’s Wolf Ranch community of 100 3D-printed home nears completion in Georgetown, Texas, about 30 miles from Austin. These structures require the massive 45-foot wide, 4.75 ton Vulcan printer to fabricate.

Using a mixture of concrete powder, water, sand and other additives, the printer nozzle squeezes out the concrete mixture onto a brush, building the home up in individual layers, along a pre-programmed path that creates corduroy-effect walls. Each single-story home with three- to four-bedrooms takes around three weeks to finish printing, with the foundation and metal roofs installed traditionally.
