
Unlike its predecessors, the iPhone 8 will reportedly get a glass back for wireless charging purposes, and instead of a fingerprint reader, the cameras offer facial recognition unlocking. Its Samsung OLED display boasts 1125 x 2436 native resolution, making it sharper than the iPhone 7 Plus. “Apart from being a throwback to the glass-backed iPhone 4 and 4s design, the glass back on the iPhone 8 would allow for wireless charging, which has been one of the biggest rumors as of late. Having a glass back also eliminates the need for antenna lines, which are one of the least popular design features in the iPhone 6, 6s, and 7,” reports Business Insider.
