Apple iPhone maker Foxconn, also known as the Hon Hai Technology Group, announced today that they will begin full production of Monarch Tractor’s MK-V Series starting Q1 2023 at the former Lordstown Motors facility in Ohio. This massive campus offers 6.2 million square foot of scalable production space and will follow production of Monarch’s Founder Series in Q4 of 2022 at Monarch Tractor’s Livermore, California, manufacturing facility.
The autonomous, all-electric Monarch MK V tractor boasts 10+ hours of runtime and battery swap capability, which makes 24-hour operation a possibility when required. When charged using a 240V 80A outlet, it can be fully recharged in 4-5 hours (J1772). An onboard smart screen provides detailed graphics, diagnostics and an interactive live map, including detailed weather information. When it comes to drag racing, you’ll want this 1,000hp turbocharged tractor.
