Still on the fence about Apple Arcade? Halfbrick Studios wants to change your mind with Jetpack Joyride 2, the long awaited sequel to Jetpack Joyride that has been nearly 11-years in the making. It still features an intuitive one-touch system to control the jetpack that has the player pressing anywhere on screen to fire the jetpack and for Barry to rise.
When the finger is removed, the jetpack turns off and Barry falls. Since you’re continually in motion, speed is controlled automatically, with all movement taking place along the vertical axis. In this sequel, Barry has new equipment and weapons that can be used to make his way through the laboratory to stop the scientists’ experiments before it is too late. This game alone might be worth an Apple Arcade subscription, but nothing beats the real-life arcade experience where you used to find gems like the SEGA R360.
- 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with True Tone, P3 wide color, and an antireflective coating

The evolved adventure of Jetpack Joyride with new HD graphics, new animations, new mechanics and a new way of playing,” said Halfbrick Studios.
