Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Official Reveal
Automobili Lamborghini officially unveiled the Countach LPI 800-4 today, and this futuristic supercar pays homage to the Countach’s 50th anniversary. Power comes from a Sián FKP 37-derived hybrid configuration that consists of a 6.5L V12 engine making 769 hp, paired with a 48-Volt electric motor generating 34 hp, for a combined output of 803 hp, mated to a 7-speed automatic manual gearbox sending power to all four wheels.

Just like the Sián FKP 3, its e-motor is powered by a supercapacitor providing three times more power compared to a lithium-ion battery of the same weight. All of this power means that the Countach LPI 800-4 can hit 62 mph in 2.8-seconds, 123 mph in 8.6-seconds and top out at 221 mph. As mentioned in the leak, it will be limited to just 112-units worldwide with pricing yet to be announced, but we’re sure the entire production run is already accounted for.

The Countach LPI 800-4 is a visionary car of the moment, just as its forerunner was. One of the most important automotive icons, the Countach not only embodies the design and engineering tenet of Lamborghini but represents our philosophy of reinventing boundaries, achieving the unexpected and extraordinary and, most importantly, being the ‘stuff of dreams’. The Countach LPI 800-4 pays homage to this Lamborghini legacy but it is not retrospective: it imagines how the iconic Countach of the 70s and 80s might have evolved into an elite super sports model of this decade,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO.
