Some auto enthusiasts may remember the wedge-shaped Lancia Stratos Zero, which debuted at the Turin Motor Show in 1970. It boasted bodywork designed by Marcello Gandini, head designer at Bertone, that was far ahead of its time. Power came from a 1.6L Lancia Fulvia V4 engine that makes around 130 hp, depending on the tune. Automotive designer Matteo Gentile decided to give this concept a modern update, calling it the Lancia Stratos Zero Restomod.

The Lancia Stratos Zero Restomod also features a wedge shape, just like its predecessor, but has doors that intersect with the roof to give it a more aggressive profile. Other features include LED taillights, a carbon fiber grille, and a quad exhaust system. How much would such a vehicle cost if it did go into production? Well, the original concept car sold in 2011 for €761,600 ($832,565 USD), so we imagine this would easily top the $1.5-million marker, especially if released in limited numbers.
