The first screenshots for the upcoming LEGO 2K Drive racing game have purportedly leaked, and it resembles the LEGO Speed Champions expansion for Forza 4. This is rumored to be a PvP multiplayer game with Mario Kart-like mechanics, with several levels to choose from that range from 2-5 minute races including sprint as well as laps.
You’ll allegedly be able to race on multiple terrains using several vehicle types including on-road, off-road and water. The twist is that you’ll be able to change vehicles automatically in-race, while powerups include jumping, teleporters, invisibility, homing missiles, web crasher, and brick wheels. Best of all, players should be able to create their own custom cars. There’s no word yet on a release date, but March 23rd might be the official reveal.
