LEGO Group Epic Games Metaverse Kids Fortnite
It’s official, the LEGO Group is teaming up with Epic Games to build a metaverse that is safe and fun for children as well as families. This virtual world aims to provide access to tools that will empower them to become confident creators and deliver amazing play opportunities in a safe and positive space. There’s no confirmation that Fortnite will be in this metaverse, but considering Epic Games owns the game, it won’t be any surprise either.

Both companies have agreed to follow three principles to ensure that the digital spaces they develop will deliver engaging play opportunities safely, including protecting children’s right to play by making safety and well being a priority, safeguarding children’s privacy by putting their best interests first, and empowering children as well as adults with tools that give them control over their digital experience.
