Riley of Brick Science wondered if there was an easier, yet more complex, way of brushing your teeth, and this strange LEGO robot is the result. How long did it take to come up with such a contraption? Around 19-hours and 15-minutes using approximately $2,000 USD worth of parts. On the bright side, it does also spray mouthwash after brushing.
There were many different ideas that went into this build, including a dual toothbrush holder, a conveyor belt to dispense fluorine tablets, and last, but not least, the mouthwash sprayer consisting of pipes as well as many valves. The most important part was putting together the robotic arm to hold the toothbrush attached to a sturdy base. Or, you could simply use electric toothbrushes to play the Star Wars Imperial March theme.
