Limited Edition Taschen Ferrari Book Art Edition
H/t: Car Scoops
Originally priced at $60,000 USD, Taschen’s Ferrari Art Edition book was limited to 250-units worldwide, and it included a sculptural bookstand by Marc Newson that looks like a real 12-cylinder engine. Plus, each one of these books have been signed by Sergio Marchionne, John Elkann, and Piero Ferrari. If you have the money to spare, book #236/250 is currently being auctioned with bidding reaching just over $22,000, not including the buyer’s premium.

The 12-cylinder engine sculpture has been handcrafted from chromed steel, while its legs were joined together using tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, a process that produces stronger, high-quality welds, typical in the automotive industry. Inside the book, you’ll find rare access to the Ferrari archives, and those of private collectors, including hundreds of never before seen photographs, drawings, as well as sketches.
