Mahindra, the Indian automaker famous for rugged SUVs, has debuted an interesting new vehicle: the BE 6 Batman Edition. Limited to 300 units, this SUV is a collector’s dream, or at least for fans of the DC Universe.
Every inch of the BE 6 Batman Edition is Batman. The exterior is Satin Black, a nod to the Dark Knight’s dark aesthetic. Both front doors have a big Batman silhouette, so there’s no mistaking this car’s inspiration. The 20-inch alloy wheels have Bat logo center caps, a subtle but not-so-subtle touch. A “BE 6 x The Dark Knight” badge on the back and an Infinity Roof with an embossed Bat emblem visible from above. Even the wing mirrors project the Bat-Signal onto the ground when you unlock the doors – a detail that feels straight out of a comic book panel.

Powering this tribute is a 79 kWh battery with a range of 340 miles according to the WLTP standard – a decent figure for an electric SUV. A single rear mounted electric motor produces 282 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque so it’s responsive. Based on the top trim of Mahindra’s BE 6 Electric Origin SUV, this Batman Edition doesn’t sacrifice capability for style. It’s built for daily driving and turning heads with its bold design.
Priced at $27,500, this is a steal for collectors and fans. Mahindra opens bookings on August 23 and deliveries start on International Batman Day, September 20 – a fitting date for a Batman car.
