Mark Zuckerberg Mixed Reality Fencing Quest Pro VR
Microsoft Mesh may not be ready for a while, and that’s why Mark Zuckerberg is teasing what his upcoming Quest Pro VR headset is capable of. He teased a fencing demo with Olympic gold medalists Gerek Meinhardt and Lee Kiefer in a mixed reality environment, complete with scoreboard as well as the foil.

Unlike the Oculus Quest 2, the Quest Pro headset uses higher-resolution cameras and a depth sensor to view the world in color rather than monochrome. This means immersive mixed reality experiences are possible when viewed through the headset’s dual 2160×2160 Mini-LED LCD panels. Other features this followup VR headset are expected to have include 12GB of RAM, built-in eye tracking and face tracking. Meta is set to officially unveil Quest Pro at their annual virtual reality event on October 11th.
