McLaren 720S vs. Electric Porsche
Auto enthusiasts already know that the McLaren 720S is powered by the new M840T 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 710 hp and 568 lb⋅ft of torque at 5,500 rpm, enabling it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds. How does it fare against a custom all-electric Porsche 944? Not so well to say the least, thanks to dual 11-inch DC motors powering the rear wheels generating 980 hp and 1,500 lb-ft of torque.

Best of all, after humiliating various supercars at the drag strip, it can be driven home, if it has enough power left in the batteries that is. As an added bonus, the electric 944 was challenged by a modified Mercedes-AMG GT R, and it’s easy to guess which one was faster. So, without further ado, say hello to the 9-second Porsche, which runs on electricity and it’s not a Taycan or Tesla.
